Frankenstein is immediately related to something scary and eerie. The first Frankenstein print novel was by Mary Shelley. She was a British writer who was only 19 when she wrote this book. The name of the book was Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus. The first edition had to be published anonymously in London in 1818. Only after the third edition was released did Shelley's name appear on the book. This book is about a scientist who learns how to reanimate flesh. He then creates a being similar to man from body parts taken from the dead. This creature got the name of "Frankenstein" after the films since 1931.

The Frankenstein character became more famous after movies were made on it. The first Frankenstein prints were made and sold as early as 1910 by J. Searle Dawley. Then came the Frankenstein later movies which got the character more popularity and even the making of Frankenstein Film Posters. There are comics based on Frankenstein. There have been music and song adaptations of it too. Infact several places have the name too like Frankenstein, Missouri-United States, Frankenstein- Rhineland-Palatinate-Germany and Frankenstein, Saxony. Even today Frankenstein is referred to for scary characters and weird scientific experiments. The original Frankenstein has given birth to a different adaptation of the character all together.

His was a character which can be comic or depict elements of the older movements and revolutions.
